Mark Twain draws a Picture!

It's rainin' today :(

No fun for us outside, but I found something fun to do! I drew a picture of me! It's not the greatest but I think it looks like me!

I'm bored now though, what else can a bat do on a rainy day?

Hello there new friend :D

What a day it's been...

While walking today I made a new friend! He's a cool guy too. He says his name is Bandit, he's a time traveler! He got stuck in our time with his trusty pet dodo bird when his time machine ran out of battery. I'm not sure if he is from the future or the past. I told him that I'm an ice bat and he told me he was a pterodactyl.



I know right? Wow

He is a really cool guy too, I think we are going to be best friends.
His pet dodo bird is named Abraham Lincoln, and he talks in a wierd series of clicks. Only Bandit can understand him. He seems very wise though. He is going to be our go to guy with questions and stuff! If you ever have any qustions for the dodo bird you can always leave them as comments. I'll ask him for you :D He is wiser (and older) then any other thing in this entire world!

Mark Twain was sick :(

Sorry, I went a couple of days here without a post (more like a week)

I was one sick bat! All it takes one sore throat to really get a guy down ya know?
Well anywho, I'm back and better now. I'll be posting daily like before now :D

New Friends today and some time with June at my favorite Starbucks!

Hot Dog! I was going through the change jar in the kitchen last night and look what I found!



Thats enough change to bring home a new friend! I can't wait to go and meet him or her. There is enough there for June to bring home a new friend too *blush*

I asked June to come along with me today, I'm going to be spending some time at my favorite starbucks. June said she would come along! This is going to be a very relaxing day, I'm excited to start todays adventure. I'll post pics of my new friend after we get him home :D

Snack Day! (and a cute girl)

Yesterday was officially Snack Day! You know how we all love snacks :D

I was invited by Tex and The Fonz to come over and have snacks with them. When I got there I saw the prettiest Girl I have ever seen *blushes* She had a bow in her hair! Her name is June!

The party went great, I brought some Mondo's and June brought some Wafers and we all had a great time. June and I really hit it off too, I asked her to go to starbucks with me last night and she said Yes!!!!!!!!
I'm one lucky bat!

Backpack Backpack Backpack Backpack!

It's done!!!!! It fits nice and I can carry a lot of cookies in it! I'm excited.

I also made some cookies today, but I ate them all up while I was making the backpack :*(

Yesterday was voting day! I was excited, woke up and got ready with a spring in my step. After I voted I stopped to take some pictures with tall the signs. Sheesh there was a lot of things to make a decisions on. I hope I made the right choices >.<



Last night I went to an election night party! Tex and The Fonz where there! it was good to see them again. I think we are going to spend more time together soon.

Visiting Randall in the Hospital

well, my good friend Randall has gotten himself all gummed up, and is spending a few days in the hospital. We went in for a visit for a few hours yesterday. It was fun!

This my new friend, she takes care of Randall while he stays there. I liked her, she really knew how to smile!


And here I am just hanging out! The hospital room was really nice, and had a comfy couch. I'm not glad my friend is there but I am glad that if he has to be in a hospital he got to be in this one.

Trick or Treat....the tragedy

Well, I hate to report this but Trick or treat was a bust this year at our house. We only had 5 trick or treaters come by! I say, when I was a young bat I would fly from house to house in the dark through high winds and a hail storm.

.....
......Ok, maybe thats not true. BUT it was different back then!


I did get some good pics though, and it's good to see the family tradation still lives! We went over to mom's house and every year she makes a pot of chili for trick or treat night. I can remember after getting my candy as a child running home to eat chili! My friends and their parents would come sometimes and my grandma and grandpa would be there. I still feel that same security when I eat my mama's chili. It's a dietery way of saying "it's going to be allright"

Not to mention it's mmm mmm good!

Happy Halerween!

Happy Halerween everyone! I'm a mad scientist this year! I carved my pumpkin allready and found one that had my face on it! I can't wait for the kiddies to come and get their candy. Begging starts here at 5:30. I hear The Fonz is working up something as I type this, he said he would swing by to show me when it was done. I'm excited, he wouldn't tell me what he was making.

I'm going to a party tonight, I'll see him there if not before. I'll take a couple pics and post them tonight or in the morning.

OWWWWWW I'm off to get ready for trick or treat!

New Friends!!!!!!!!!!

I am proud and please to introduce you my new friends! I went to my favorite toy store today and made a few new friends while I was there! (Check out their facebook here)

And this is my other new friend, Henry Winkler. Lets just call him the fonz though.




Tex and The Fonz seems to be best friends, they usually don't part from each other but I like them both. It's good to have friends!

A stop a the Park

I got about 30 min of free time this morning and thought I would go for a walk in the park. It was nice to just get some fresh air and spend some alone time with my thoughts. The park was a lot more active then I thought it would be in the morning but I was able to find a nice quite place to be alone. While I was there I did take some pictures though :D

First thing I did was find the ducks! I always go straight for them, there is something peaceful and childlike about them. Just swimming around not worry about anything but where the next bug there going to eat is. LOL






Next I took a walk to find a quiet place to think. I have always loved the smell of leaves, so this one was a no brainier!

Overall, it was a good start to a great day! After I got home the day just got better, but thats a story for the next post....

And just like that....

My new lab coat is done. I opted for the two button style, thought it looked nice. I also started gathering materals for my time machine *evil grin*

Mark Twain made a himself a vest today!

Brrrrrr It was getting chilly here, and even though I'm suppose to like the icebox I thought a vest would be nice to keep my tummy warm!

I got a little tangeled up during fitting

It all got sorted out though, and after a few minor adjustments it fits! Its very warm, something nice to have for those long cold winter nights. It was easy enough to make too! Hmmmm, maybe I should sell them on ebay to buy some new friends.....nah, I'm the only one that gets to look this good :D
